Getting started

Updated 09/02/2026

You can take your first booking in six steps. Each step lives in your service settings, and the setup checklist on the dashboard links to them in order.

1. Create a service

Choose 'Add service' from the account menu and fill in the 'Create booking service' form: 'Service name', 'Service URL', country, currency, timezone, and address. The service URL becomes your public booking page address. A new service starts inactive, so visitors see an empty profile with no products until you activate it.

2. Add a product group and products

Open 'Products' in service settings. Start with 'Add group': the group sets the 'Approval mode', 'Payment type', and 'Booking unit' shared by its products. Then use 'Add product' for each bookable item with its price and 'Minimum duration' and 'Maximum duration'.

Options are extras a guest can add while booking, and they're optional. Create them under 'Options' and attach them to a product with 'Option linking'.

3. Set operating hours

Under 'Operating hours', set open and close times for each weekday. New services start with 09:00 to 18:00 every day, so adjust them to your real hours. Add closures in 'Holidays' and, if data exists for your country, in 'National holiday closures'.

4. Set reservation rules

Under 'Reservation rules', set how far ahead and how close to the start time guests can book, whether to collect phone numbers, and whether to send reminders. See Reservation rules.

5. Activate the booking page

At the top of 'Reservation rules' is the 'Activate booking page' card. Turning it on makes your products and time slots visible and starts accepting bookings. Activating is also where billing begins: the first time you activate, a free trial starts without a card. See Plans and billing.

Open 'View booking page' to see what guests see, then share the page link with your guests. To put the embed calendar on your own website, copy the 'Embed code' from 'Embed calendar'.

Setup checklist

On the dashboard, the 'Booking service launch checklist' button at the bottom left lists these steps in order and links to each screen. Data items such as adding a product complete on their own; review items complete when you save that screen. When every item is done, use 'Share booking page' to send the link. Choose 'Don't show again' to hide the checklist.
