Plans and billing

Billing starts when you activate a booking page, not when you create a service. Everything before that is free.

Before you activate

You can create services, product groups, and products without a plan. An inactive service shows visitors an empty profile and takes no bookings. Products and groups inside inactive services don't count toward your plan usage.

When billing starts

The first time you turn on the 'Activate booking page' card in 'Reservation rules', the confirmation screen suggests the lowest plan that fits your active services, product groups, and products, and you can pick a higher one. Choose 'Activate and start trial' to begin a 30-day free trial. No card is needed, and with no card on file nothing is charged when the trial ends. The free trial is available once per account.

If you've already used your free trial, activating asks you to start a subscription first.

During and after the free trial

During the free trial you get the full limits of the plan you chose. To keep your page active afterwards, add a card on the billing screen with 'Add a card' before the trial ends.

If the free trial ends without a card, the subscription ends and your booking page is hidden from guests. The activation switch stays on, and the 'Activate booking page' card explains that billing stopped. Once billing is back to normal, the page returns exactly as it was.

Plan limits

Plans are Starter, Pro, and Business. They differ in how many active products, active services, product groups, and saved theme presets you can have. Members are unlimited on every plan, and Business can add slot packs for more active products.

Current prices and limits are shown on the plan screen. Subscriptions are billed in USD, monthly or yearly. Inscramble charges no per-booking fee, and guest payments go to your own Stripe account.

Changing or cancelling your plan

Open 'Subscription' from the account menu to reach 'Billing & plan'. From there:

• 'Change plan' switches plans immediately; the remaining period is prorated.
• Before moving to a smaller plan, fit within its limits yourself by deactivating services, products, or groups. Nothing is deactivated for you.
• 'Manage payment method' opens the Stripe portal for cards, billing details, and invoices.
• 'Cancel subscription' keeps full access until the end of the current billing period.

Subscriptions are managed on the web only. The mobile app only points you there.
