Add your calendar to Wix

On Wix, add a button that opens your Inscramble booking page in a new tab. Guests book on the full booking page, with the same products, hours, and booking rules you manage in Inscramble.

Why the embed code isn't used on Wix

Wix runs the code from its HTML embed element inside a sandboxed frame, as Wix describes in its own help center. The Inscramble embed calendar doesn't load there, and pop-ups or new tabs opened from inside that frame are blocked. Contact details and payment open in a new window, so the calendar couldn't complete a booking on Wix even if it appeared. A booking page link avoids all of this.

Steps

1. In 'Service settings', open the 'General' tab. In the 'Service URL' row, select 'Copy link' to copy your booking page address.
2. In the Wix editor, add a button and set its link to a web address. Paste the address you copied.
3. Set the link to open in a new tab, then publish the site.

Things to check

• Open the published page and confirm the button opens the booking page in a new tab.
• Changes to products, hours, and booking rules apply to the booking page right away, so the button doesn't need updating.
• Colors and display elements under 'Embed calendar' apply to the embed calendar only, not to the booking page.
• If you change 'Service URL', the address changes and the button link must be updated.
