Deleting your account

Updated 09/02/2026

You can delete your Inscramble account and its data at any time from the app or the web. No email request is needed.

How to delete your account

  1. Sign in to Inscramble in the app or at inscramble.so.
  2. Open Settings and go to the 'General' tab.
  3. Scroll down to the 'Danger zone' and tap 'Delete account'.
  4. Type 'DELETE' in the dialog and confirm. Your account and personal data are deleted immediately.

Deletion can't be undone.

What happens to your bookings

Upcoming bookings you made as a customer are cancelled automatically, and refunds follow each service's refund policy. The dialog shows how many bookings are affected and the estimated refund.

If you own a service on Inscramble, it is deleted as well. Its customers' upcoming bookings are cancelled and refunded in full.

What is deleted and what is kept

Deleted immediately: your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, booking notes, guest contact details, and any services you own.

Kept temporarily, then permanently erased:

  • Booking history, with all personal identifiers removed, is kept for 3 years and then deleted.
  • Payment and transaction records are kept for 7 years to meet tax and e-commerce law, then deleted.

Retained records are de-identified, so they're no longer linked to you. They're kept solely to meet legal accounting and tax obligations. The Privacy Policy has the full retention terms.

If you can't sign in

Request deletion by writing to privacy@inscramble.so from the email address registered to your account.

If you only ever booked as a guest, there's no account to delete. Questions about the data tied to a guest booking go to the same address.
